A warm and friendly welcome to the spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with a lovely terrace and views of the Douro. Perfect location for a river cruise and lots of good restaurants just across the road.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment in the Duoro Valley. The view from the terrace was amazing! Great communication with the host. Free parking was just below the apartment (5 min walk). Great restaurants right across the street.

A bit of an odor from stairwell leading up to the apartment (likely from the old red carpet on the stairs). No odor in the apartment itself or rooms.

The view is fabulous! The proximity to great restaurants is fantastic! The accommodations were very comfortable.

The only negative are the size of the showers in each bathroom.

- noise from the street - missing local infrastructure / Mini-Mart in the direct neigbourhood (e.g. to buy drinking water) - shower temperature control is SUUUUPER sensitive

The apartment was very nice. Comfortable beds, great balcony, Pedro was very helpful and quick to respond!

The showers were very temperamental between extreme hot and cold and we're a little small but it was great to have 3 separate bathrooms.

The place was very specious, well equipped with all you might need, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The view to Douro river was a bonus, and was really amazing. All the bedrooms were en-suite, with bathrooms in every room, which was very useful, as we were a group of seven. Another extra was the specious balcony and all the outdoor furniture to enjoy the nice weather, looking at the river and the nice scenery. The property was a walking distance to everywhere, with a couple of restaurants and wine-tasting places just across the street. Although there was no car park at the property (we travelled by two rented cars), there was a free public car park just a minute away. The town of Peso da Regua itself was very nice and charming, and a very good starting point to explore all that Douro valley has to offer. A plenty of wineries close by, and scenic routes to enjoy the vineyards on the slopes all around the place. Many places of interest were just 15 to 30-minute drive, including Vila Real, Pinhao, Lamego, Amarante. Last, but not least, a very nice and accommodating host, providing you with advice on places to go to for a tasty dinner, or any further information you might need. We would be back, definitely.

Just by chance, we visited in early March, and the weather was quite cold during the night and in the morning. It was a bit cold, although there was air-conditioning in every room.
