"Bad"

The scenery was the nice

This was a bad experience all the amenities in the Folly Cottage were broken. The owner Charlotte was very unprofessional and I communicated the issues via WhatsApp but failed to reply or answer the phone even though she was active on WhatsApp. I checked in at 3.30 and there was no hot water and continued every day, which I had contact Charlotte who doesn't answer to come to turn on the water. So I was unable to wash in the morning and wait until evening. First impression the carpet was old and worn out. The bedding was old and worn out and looked very unhygienic The cooker knobs comes off in your hand. The heating didn't work and I had to use a small portable heater. The television stopped working and I was unable to turn it on by hand or remotely. The TV had no smart function. The bathroom carpet, walls and mirror was all falling apart wholes, broken bits. The toilet roll holder didn't work and hang by a thread and the bins in the bathroom was broken. Their was no shower curtain and the property is dog friendly with dog bowl and biscuits left for guests so their was no chance of me sitting in a bathtub that was dog friendly so the floor got wet and with no heating it was unpleasant. There were no waste bins inside the property. The ceiling had a window with no curtains and it was not dark at night and in the day time you were exposed to sun rays. I was supposed to stay from Wednesday to Sunday but by Friday morning I had enough of the property and exited first thing on Saturday I raised all the issues with the amenities with Charlotte the owner but she was unsympathetic and said it was me not the property and turned unpleasant on WhatsApp. I raised my complaint with Booking.com and Charlotte offered 2 night refund when I wanted 4 the length of my holiday.
