La neteja es nota que es fa superficialment, el lloc està brut. La cuina no te sortida de fums i la fosa sèptica es a tocar. Alguna panerola circulant. Les finestres no tanquen bé.Fa fred i entra aire per tot arreu. Problemes amb l’aigua calenta.El camí d’accés no està en bones condicions. El mobiliari exterior està en pèssimes condicions. Es una llàstima perquè l’idea es bona però no s’ha fet manteniment i l’higiene hi es absent

Le silence et l'impression de bout du monde de ce lieu. Le ciel nocturne et son fouillis d'étoiles. Impression d'être de nouveau chez soi.

We’ve been twice before, 5 or 6 years ago and love it for its isolation and quiet.

Sadly, over that time, the maintenance of the building and surrounds has declined. All the plants have been allowed to die and now you’re just left with goat skulls and turtle carcasses, making the place look a bit feral. The woodwork’s not been treated and looks shabby and generally it could be cleaner.

The rustic yet comfortable nature of the home

The property is exactly what is in the pictures. It is secluded, extremely peaceful and perfect for a “retreat”. The decor would not be my first choice but that is clearly shown in the pictures. It was a perfect location for us!

Ideally a washing machine - but we know that if you want a secluded location with solar power there will be these details.

Nous recherchions le calme, c'est un pari réussi. Seul au monde, dans un endroit extraordinaire, un dépaysement que nous recherchions, mais pas trop loin de petite boutique, piscine naturelle, la visite de l'île est très pratique. Mon mari a perdu la clef, ben oui☹️et le propriétaire nous en a remise une dans les 15min, sans nous la faire payer. Merci encore pour sa réactivité et son geste🙂

Loved the rustic cabin, the space around it, and peacefulness, the walk through sandy lava rock fields to the coast with minimal people to encounter along the coastal walks. Loved the outside bed, we chose to sleep outdoors as it was cooler, loved the outside fire, loved the hammock and lounge chairs positioned for shelter from strong wind in the evenings, and loved the activities of little lizards outdoors and daily visits indoors from cute little geckos.

Didnt like the access road (aprox 500m) rattling the rental car severely, didnt like the absence of any cooling fans, we brought 2 portable rechargeables ones of our own and a portable solar panel to charge them which were invaluable especially at night. Didn't like the variable water pressure and temperature, the 2 sets of unusable broken chairs outside, the random large black beetles in the kitchen, and the roosters in the nearby farm crowing very early.
