Great location and facilities

This is a small ground floor flat, comfortable enough for two. It’s very competitively priced compared with room-only or B&B accommodation. There’s a hidden public footpath a few doors northwards that leads to the town centre in a few minutes without walking along any roads. No problem with access. Yes, the flapjack on arrival was welcome! Car parking is marked on a tarmacked area directly outside...

… but a neighbour told me I should instead park on the shingle area, so that she could put her car on her shingle instead of her tarmac space! I didn’t comply. Crumbs and dirt had been left on dining table, and there was burnt food waste on the oven grill pan and the bottom of the oven. Cleaning chemicals were provided, but no washing up liquid. There’s just enough crockery and cutlery for two, but not enough if you plan to entertain guests or do a signifiant amount of cooking/serving. The kitchen is not equipped with a fire extinguisher or fire blanket, there is no oven glove, and the first aid kit does not meet minimum contents requirements. Heating was hot in the bedroom and shower room but not warm enough in the lounge. Lighting is dull and difficult to see clearly by, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen. If you leave windows open when you go out be warned that in heavy rain the guttering overflows and rain pours down the windows! Even in light rain there’s a leaking guttering joint that drips directly on to a ventilation hood from the kitchen and makes a very effective ‘drip torture’! I didn’t report these issues at the time because I wanted to focus on enjoying my break, and most could not be addressed immediately. I’m writing this to help other decide where to stay.

Close to all amenities comfortable bed handy for getting to where we had to go good supply of all we needed

Couldn't close the bedroom door and not sure if boiler or what it was in cupboard but was a little noisy but not a big problem

Location was good, Nice to have coffeemaker and coffee and tea. also what looked to be homemade flapjacks. Due to an allergy I did not try them but they looked good!

Fridge was dirty, house smelt of damp - lounge wall is damp and plaster going in corner. No manuals for microwave or cooker. Microwave ok but no idea of power so had to guess. Cooker - could not get oven to heat. - probably me but manual or instructions for over would have helped. To be fair it did not hamper me in the end and I did not contact them about it. Furnishings etc fine and rest clean but shower needed re sealing as was bit mouldy. Cutlery tray and sink stained so I did not use it. My stay did What I needed and I got s9 e writing done and had a rest. Left note re fridge for them as it is easy not to remember to wipe out fridge or cupboards between tenants.

No bare essentials in kitchen Milk - well UHT not healthy- No salt pepper or any cooking oil I stayed for 4 nights so buying these should not be necessary for me!

Good quiet location with parking right outside property, within walking distance of town centre. Coffee machine and homemade flapjacks.

Very clean and close location to curch stretton town centre. Flap Jack's were very on arrival.

The locations was fine and the premises did have new carpets however the mattress was thin and sagged in the middle, the premises were not amazingly clean and the settees were uncomfortable.
