Casa Ventura

The quiet location at Arco de Calheta was good for us, it's about 32 miles from the airport - but we hired a car so that was ok. The property is set in a lovely small, well kept garden with great views towards the sea and the surrounding hills. We found the house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped - it was exactly as described in the listing. We were met on arrival by Garry who had the keys and showed us around.

A minor issue really but we struggled a bit to work out how to use the washing machine but we managed it ok in the end - and it was great to have one there!

This house is perfect. Big, very well equipped, beautiful garden, amazing sunsets. Location is perfect to explore island. Parking is on street, which is strange and first, but then you see that everybody is doing it. Be aware that nothing is really in walking distance, but I assume everybody comes here with a rental car, so no problem here.

Everything was perfect! The place had anything you expect to find in a house! Perfect!

Beautiful garden, a lot of space in the house. Excellent host!

Spacious apartment. loads of dishes. Great host, bringing us fruits and even taking us to the beach by car. When there was an internet outage in the area, the host gave us his private mobile router - unbelievable approach!
