Halkidiki SeaFront Beach House

The house is right on the bitch. It has a beautiful view of the see, as well the waves can be heard from the bed. The house is very clean and comfortable.

There was no hot water in the kitchen.

The location of the Beach House is just perfect with the terrace so convenient for enjoying wonderful views and sunsets. The furniture is new and gives the house a modern still cozy look. The beds were very comfortable. It is very convenient to have two bathrooms - just one with a shower which we hardly used since we almost only took outdoor showers. We went swimming every morning, the sea at your door step (with some pebbles). We highly recommend it.

For the evenings there could be more / better lighting in the living room for reading. Other than that we had everything we needed.

Everything was perfect! Very kind owners, always helped when it was needed. Beautiful views, restaurants and beach’s bars close to house.

The property has a nice view towards the sea and is located immediately near the shore, where fishing can be practiced. Unfortunately the sea grass is too big and dense for bathing near the property. The public beach that is appropriate for bathing is 200 m away and is fairly clean. The kitchen had plenty of kitchenware. Beds were comfortable.

Major: Communication with the owners was often inefficient. For some reason they did not answer calls. We could only communicate through messages the problems that we had and this often took tens of minutes to hours between replies. Our impression was that the owners were either busy with something else or had a laid-back approach towards resolving guest problems. The house was full of mosquitoes when we arrived so we had to kill each one individually until it was safe to sleep for us and our children. There were mosquito repellent devices inside the house but we did not use them due to the health side effects they have. One of the mosquito nets in the main bedroom was broken which let the mosquitoes through. Both the defective sofa and the mosquito net were fixed eventually during the 3rd day of our stay. Moderate: The shower and faucet outside the house had their drains clogged with sand and thus we could not use them to clean our feet when we arrived from the beach. Instead, we had to use a hose that we extended outside the propety, into the street. Air conditioning units worked silently, but the ones in the bedrooms had a bad smell, a sign that they were not periodically maintained and disinfected. Inconspicuous places were not clean (the area underneath the detachable foam pillows of the sofa was dirty with hair and crumbs from previous guests, the clothes drying rack on the porch was dusty). There were many electrical sockets that were hanging partially out of their wall slots, posing electrocution hazards for small children. Small: A broom was provided but there was no dustpan to use with it. Only free satellite chanels were available on TV.

Great location. The house is equipped with everything you need and more. The neighbors are nice and quiet. .

The pillows are way too soft and definitely need to be replaced.
