The Carriage House on Slope Hill

The location was perfect as two friends and I had a wedding to attend that was 4 min away from the house. The location made it easy for travel and it was also close to restaurants as we all worked late and needed a quick bite to eat after checking in. It was such a cute little spot that is worth staying at if you need a place for a weekend event. The host was very kind and was able to accommodate a last minute change in our reservation.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was great to have a little kitchen to cook breakfast and the sleeping arrangement was perfect for the three of us.

The cottage is so quaint and in a lovely landscape. It's obvious the owner has taken a lot of care with her property, not just the cottage but her home, garden and surrounding land. It's really lovely. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, and well-appointed. The full size bed is super comfortable, I slept great. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable the cottage was, I highly recommend if you need a nice, safe, clean place to stay in Mt. Pleasant.

I would really have to search for something I didn't like. I can't think of anything.

Very professional. The premises were impressively maintained.

The proximity to the turnpike meant it never got truly quiet. One of things we love about staying in a rural setting is the dark at night. It didn't get completely dark. These things in no way detract from the facility and the proprietor, both of which were gracious and welcoming.

Everything about this little gem is likeable. If you can find a reason to stay here (a lil out of the way), choose this beautiful place.
