The Cart Lodge - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

Lovely lodge set in the tranquil grounds of a small golf course with free roaming peacocks. The facilities were excellent and we would stay here again. Kitchen well equipped and bed very comfortable. Owner was fantastic, very informative and welcoming.

There were a couple of large spiders living in the bedroom. This didn't bother us, but I could understand if people with phobias were unsettled. No tea, coffee or sugar in the cupboards - not really an issue, but you would usually expect this.

A beautiful holiday lodge, had everything we needed in a very well equipped kitchen, bathroom facilities absolutely immaculate. A very comfortable bed, in a peaceful and calming bedroom. Main living room very well decorated and very comfortable after a day out touring. We had our own courtyard to sit out in, with a great view over the golf course and we had visiting peacocks. Complimentary wine and chocolates were a very nice personal touch. Our hosts where lovely people and we would not hesitate to re visit again if we are in the area. Plenty of places of interest to visit.

Beautiful setting and a very comfortable bed. There is lots to do in the area and some really good restaurants and pubs.

These are very small things. The patio needs a good clean, lots of spiders in the bedroom and there is a Nespresso machine which is great, but only 2 mugs so it would have been nice to have a cup for my morning espresso! As I said really small things as we had a lovely couple of days.

Very good location with Snape, Aldeburgh , Framlingham, Woodbridge and even Southwold easily accessible. Pleasant situation overlooking the golf course.

A number of relatively minor issues that nevertheless affect one’s overall impression of the property. These have been shared separately with Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages.

A real get away from it all holiday cottage. Very tranquil, yet easy to get to places of interest and good walks. Watched golfers by day and wildlife by night on the course The cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner wss very helpful. Would be more than happy to stay here again

The toilet seat was loose, though hopefully that has now been fixed I could hear the bat's at night which took some getting used to but it's all part of being in the country
