Church Cottage

Location ideal.

It was a very cosy and well appointed, with the exception of the hot water provided for the showers which was totally unacceptable. While it is a minor issue because of the time of the year, but the description outside gardens is not compatible with what we saw. Perhaps in warmer months it might be tidied up.

Great little cottage in good location. Very warm. Comfortable. Good sized fridge and small freezer. Familiar inoffensive smart holiday cottage decor. Well equipped. Convenient parking in roadway to rear. Chipping Campden is a very good place to stay and visit the Cotswolds and we thought the cottage was priced very reasonably and good value for money.

We liked everything which was as expected but it is worth noting that like many/most of these Cotswold cottages room sizes, although acceptable can be quite small, notably here in the bathrooms and small bedroom and the stairs need care. And with a view to future guests - Info on the location of the car park space could be clearer and would make life easier (perhaps a simple plan in the notes). We assumed it was on the left immediately before the telegraph pole and against the back wall of the cottage. On arrival this area was filled with three rubbish bins from No 2 (which we moved beyond the telegraph pole and closer to the neighbour's garage door). [In practice the private car parking was a real bonus given the prime location and on street parking restrictions.] Instructions on what to do with rubbish and recycling would be helpful, although we guessed that the cottage does not use the standard council collection or offer full recycling.

Cafetière for me although there were other coffee makers so bought one locally no problem

Clean, spacious, well equipped, location.

Lovely location. We like Chipping Campden very much.

Not possible to park outside the cottage to unload and reload at the end of our stay. Two of our party were semi-disabled so getting up the stairs was difficult ( my fault, I should have checked the suitability when booking) but we managed and no-one fell down the stairs.
