Berg Treat

On the day before travelling was given an Electonic map and given contact details for different people incase of i have a problem.

No shops around the area.

Berg treat is a nice place in the Drakensberg mountains with beautiful scenery. The house is comfortable, the lawn is beautiful, the solar system a big plus, the bedding fresh and clean, the staff friendky. A fireplace in the lounge ideal for cold nights and the braai facilities and patio nice extras.

The house need a bit of maintenance. The floors are not properly installed and is lifting up at some places. The towel rails are loose and need fixing etc. Aircon can heat the place immediately if you return at nighttime on cold nights.

It’s close to some stunning walks, as well as driving location to see the various shops, restaurants and activities in Champagne Valley. It’s peaceful and a lovely spot for a family.

Great location, quiet, good braai facilities with wood and charcoal, most utensils that may be required, some milk provided, information provided when requested.

Fans for the heat maybe? and some way of drying the towels when it is wet outside (there was a lot of damp with the weather we were having).

Lovely home with all ameneties you require. Very good location for all Berg activities.
