Villa Eleonora

Fabulous view, Lovely big house with great facilities. Children loved the pool

We visited Villa Eleonora for a week in May 2024 In total we were 6 adults and two children 4 & 7 years old. We can warmly recommend a stay here! It's a fantastic place! The villa is located on a hill above Marina di Ragusa with a fantastic view of the town and the sea. There is space for 3 parked cars inside the gates. Google Maps first chose to lead us via road SP89 and Via 414. It is a very steep and narrow road to the house. I recommend instead that you drive from the other direction and take road SP25 and turn towards the house via road Via Belvedere. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived and everything we needed in the form of sheets and towels was there. The garden is fantastic with a very nice pool, outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen with the possibility of grilling. The communication with the owners was always phenomenal. The owner Rosalba is amazing and always responded within minutes to the messages we sent. Rosalba also made sure there were charcoal on site so we could start the grill the first evening. About the area: A very good grocery store "Eurospar" is only 5 minutes away by car. Near it is the "Parcheggio di piazza Rabito". A playground with many climbing frames. Perfect for children between 3-10. Next to the playground there is a market every Tuesday in the parking lot between 07:00 and 13:00. That car park is also good to park in and take the short walk (about 500 metres) down to the fantastic beach which is open to everyone. 25 km inland is the city of Ragusa. A classic Sicilian mountain town that is well worth a visit.

Nicely fit to our two families (4+3). All rooms were ensuite. Nice pool and view. Parking inside the gates for 2 cars. Marina di Ragusa was a positive surprice for calm holiday. Rosalba was kind host and allways available.

A small update for the garden and terrace furniture would make a big difference. Off course the view comes with a bit swetty climb to the hill.

House is absolutely marvelous. Close to marina, restaurants and shopping. We had wonderful time there.

Excellent location. Excellent house, great garden. Very clean and comfortable house. The pool water was maintained. Comfortable porch. Beautiful view. Suitable for a family. I will visit again with pleasure.
