The apartment was clean. Each room is equipped with climate control devices, which can also be used for heating if needed.

The property is located next to a busy road. Spending time in the garden feels noisy, similar to being on the sidewalk. The garden is under surveillance with cameras, and a neighbor's rooftop terrace is just above the property. As a family with small children, we didn’t feel comfortable with this lack of privacy, and it should have been disclosed upfront. The gardener visits unannounced twice a week, leaving everything in the garden soaking wet, including our drying clothes. No prior information was given, and it was unsettling to hear someone in the locked "private" garden outside our bedroom windows. The pool is not heated. While we expected this, it would be helpful if this detail was clearly mentioned for other guests. The property lacks maintenance. The shower was broken, and there was a noticeable sewage smell from the toilet.

amazing property, it’s in the perfect location, literally one block from the yumbo, yet it is exceptionally quiet. it has a spar convenience store next door and it is a completely private property. the pictures are very accurate, it’s beautifully presented. book this property with complete confidence that you will have an amazing holiday in a perfect location and with the added support of a host that is available to support you with literally anything if you need it. I can’t rate this property enough. I will always look to book here if available!

I can’t think of a single thing, as everything was perfect

Location was perfect for us; close enough to the busy area (<5 minutes walk to Yumbo, ~15m to dunes), but also enough of the way away for a chill. Spa basically next door for short-term essentials, with a Lydl and bigger supermarkets within walking distance. Bus stop by the Spa provided easy transport links to/from the airport. Ilse was very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed; pool in the complex (that we pretty much had to ourselves, which suited us well), well-equipped kitchen, a private garden for chilling/reading and high speed Internet. Can confidently say this would be our first port of call for a future trip to GC, either as a couple or with friends.
