Das kleine Häuschen liegt ideal, um Castel del Monte zu besichtigen. Man kommt zu Fuß in ca 20 Minuten zum Eingang der Burg. Für uns war es praktisch, die Räder im geschlossenen Garten abstellen zu können. Zum Frühstück kann man sich Tee oder Kaffee kochen und sonstige Zutaten wurden bereitgestellt. Sogar Müsli und u. a Hafermilch.

Wir waren allein auf dem großen Grundstück, Grill stand zur Verfügung - gute Erholung! Fahrräder sicher geparkt.

Nachschub mit frischem Brot zum Zimmerfrühstück zu wenig.

"Ideal place for visiting the castle"

Compact, comfortable one-room cottage in the secluded garden of the owner’s house. Spotless modern bathroom. Small kitchenette with sink, fridge and cooktop so there is the possibility of doing your own catering if you want. Secure off-street parking.

Room was great and the staff was very helpful. The setting for the home was beautiful and secure.

Once you have viewed the castle there is really nothing to do. There are 2 restaurants: one closed at 3:30 and refused to sell takeout. The other advertised as open until 6pm, but when we went at 4:30 they had already closed, 40 km to try and find food!
