Apartment Old Town Reina Sofia 3

Location was great .. so near the beach and the shopping centre and bars and restaruants of Puerta del Carmen. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

No bedside lamp.

Location and cleanliness

Hammering and building work on 3 mornings from 9am underneath apartment

The apartment is easily reachable thanks to the information provided before our arrival. Many restaurants and pubs are nearby. The bed is comfortable and wide enough. The kitchen is well-equipped. Both rooms have an airconditioner which is a big plus in the "winter" months as well. The apartment was clean and tidy. The internet speed and the wifi connection are pretty good.

Parking is free in the neighboring streets but can be difficult to find a free spot in peak times. The road next to the building can be noisy, mainly if a bus/truck uses it. Our bed was pretty loud even in case of a little move but it was comfortable. The couch in the living room was pretty uncomfortable.

The location was fantastic, it is just a short walk from the harbour, beach, local shop and the main strip. It is also in a great location to get the bus to and from the airport. The rooms were modern in renovation and furnishing. I loved how quiet the bedroom was at night for sleeping even with the location being busy. The host was brilliant, they communicated well and were always quick to respond. AC in the kitchen and bedroom.

The apartment below is being renovated, lots of drilling and hammering but only during daytime hours, so not very good for a siesta, but these things are not in the hosts control. The supplied WiFi password and router information is incorrect, I had to retrieve the information from the bottom of the router, a bit tricky if you are not tech savvy. No safe code provided upon arrival which meant passports and other valuables were stored outside the safe for the night, I had to request the information to be able to use the safe the following day. The bed was noisy with any slight movement making a noise. The lack of an oven and washing machine, I think these would make a great addition to the accommodation.
