Well appointed , contemporary, warm. Good bedding . Aesthetically pleasing.

Not enough logs for the log burner …. We had to buy some ( not enough for the first night)

Totally exceeded our expectations. A standalone cottage with room to move, everybody could find a private spot to relax if required or easily come together. Instructions and facilities were great, set amongst other cottages, walk to village in a minute just a lovely spot to stay.

Hard to fault, no complaints about the cottage whatsoever. Would stay again if opportunity arose.

The location of the cottage is amazing. Everything you need with 5 mins walk - restaurants, shops, chemist, co-op, bakery… Cottage is quaint and generally roomy with lovely decor. Shame we visited in winter so we didn’t use the fabulous outside seating area.

I struggled with the lack of window blinds, especially to the main ensuite which fronted the road. Ended up taking two large pictures off the wall to cover the window so we had privacy. Also this room always extremely cold even with heating on so didn’t have a shower. Also large kitchen window had no blind which made it cold sitting with your back to it at the dining table, and although it wasn’t overlooked, it’s still unnerving with no blind and pitch black outside. Lounge is beautiful but layout meant someone always looking sideways at tv, so generally a little uncomfortable. Many radiators completely enclosed with radiator covers, so with heating on, upstairs bedrooms were roasting - had to sleep with window open which isn’t ideal.

The cottage is so nice and lovely. Bedroom mattresses are super good and comfort. The front door parking is convenient. We definitely will come back again.

The house was beautifully decorated and so cozy. We appreciated the thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Honestly, this was the loveliest house I have ever rented - just beautiful!
