Tropical Friendly Holiday Home

The apartment is modern, spaceous and clean. Well equipped - fridge, freezer, cultlary, iron, washing machine etc. Really close to the Yumbo centre. Host communicated well and was very friendly. There is no air-conditioning but the fans in each room did a good job of keeping the place nice a cool.

There were 2 keys, but this was a 3 bedroom apartment and we travelled as a group of friends. A third key would have been great as we weren't always out together.

Clean, quality fittings inside, reformed interior. Good air condition. Wifi good. Reasonable level of equipment, microwave, filter coffee maker, coffee stove maker, toaster and fridge freezer. Hob and oven. Auto washing machine. Because space is extremely limited in the apt everything is tightly designed but two average people will find it claustrophobic. The complex has 2 elevators and these were good and in the main were always available to use. Climbing 7 floors is no fun after a day of beach so the elevators were welcomed. Outside always clean and tidy.

Very small, seventh floor apt with very small balcony, adequate for having a coffee on. No space to lay out. The balcony is at the rear of the block and overlooks the car park and another multi level residential apartment block. There were no instructions for any of the use of facilities in the apt. If you need to know how to operate items then like us you need to contact owner via message. Owner is contactable via messaging. Suggestion have a set of instructions of how to operate air con, shower, and some details on items in the apt. Brief information on nearest supermarkets to complex etc. these we found ourselves but arriving late and at night sometimes little things like this matter. The apt have limited electric sockets, 2 in the bedroom under some fixed shelving difficult to put converters and plugs into together, one in bathroom that we used more because of its ease to get to, then theres the microwave socket but very difficult to get a plug into. Limited wardrobe space, no cupboards or drawers for clothing. Nowhere to store large travel cases so we had to stand them near to settee, again limiting space in the living area. The pool is always busy with the locals and we never used it because there were never any sun beds to use because it was always being used by the locals. This is a very residential complex and you will not meet other tourists, the complex is 99% local Canario people. Can be a tad noisy and the walls are thin and you will hear people talking and listening to music.

The property was in an excellent location, located next to shops, bars and only a 10 minute walk from the yumbo centre! It was very spacious and had enough room for all of our group! The kitchen facilities worked well and the addition of a coffee machine and microwave was greatly appreciated! The beds and sofa were comfortable and with ceiling fans in every room, this made our stay a lot more cool! The balcony was spacious enough for us all to sit comfortably and enough a meal or play cards together! The bathroom was gorgeous with the shower having excellent water pressure and easy to use settings!

There were cockroacks in the kitchen. Local residents neighboars were smoking a lot in the balcony that we couldn't nor stay in the balcony relaxed nor with open windows at all. A bedroom very small without window - like sleeping in wardrobe. Huge building , view to the similar other huge building, not cozy.

-On request host was patiently willing to give all the information I needed -There was a wasmachine in the apartment. This prevented me from having to wash all the clothes after my return or having it to do by hand -The wifi connection was fast and good - There were cooking facilities including an oven in the apartment -There was a nice view on the swimming pool. This gave me an extra holiday feeling, especially when I opened the curtains and the sun was shining -There were a lot of supermarkets around

-The walls were so thin that I could literally hear the neighbours, even when they were talking normally and when they were playing music. That was not pleasant - Although the host was friendly and willing to give the information I needed, I still think it would be a good suggestion to make some instruction-/information map and lay it in the apartment. Just thinking about information about Playa del Ingles and the region, shopping areas, bus lines, instructions about how the safe, the shower, micro wave works, Of course I could find that out myself, or ask this, but would be great to have structured information on arrival already. - A little bit more forks, spoons and knives and an extra pan. I had to wash the dishes more than I liked.

the property for 6 over 50’s was great we were located just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the Yumbo so we just walked away from the noise! The property is on the 7th floor with numerous elevators which pleased us. With views of the sea and behind the mountains. Close to local supermarkets and Lidl meant paying residential prices and not tourist prices, helped in self catering. The apartment had everything needed to cook for six with a proper full cooker, microwave and hob, all immaculate. The washing machine was constantly on and we are heading home with clean clothes, saves the hassle once home. This complex is predominantly residential so no loud groups every night wasted and obnoxious. A real bonus! The pool is lovely and clean and looked after another great asset. it’s private so only those with a key have access. No pool bar and they do frown on taking drinks to the pool edge but we never had a problem having them around the free pool beds. Never had any towels thrown in the beds early mornings either so plenty to go around. The staff Cristina my contact by text call or email always responded straight away, teething issues were air con wouldn’t come on, was told make sure front door and patio windows were closed! Once closed the aircon came on, and was good enough for the apartment to keep all rooms cool with the aid of ceiling fans. We had to ask about wifi code and once connected it was very good, even streaming Netflix. All in all going in blind is always a worry when booking a new premises, we are ready to rebook for Christmas

For six adults there was only one bathroom, but we knew that on booking.
