Casa Eira do Povo

La casa está ubicada en un pueblo muy pequeño de calles angostas con parcelas sembradas y casas encantadoras. Es muy cómoda y está perfectamente equipada. Jorge y su esposa son muy amables. Tuvieron atenciones que hablan de su don de gente. Para quienes disfrutan de la tranquilidad de lo rural, es una excelente opción. A un paso de las playas del río Ceira, el castillo de Lousã, Coimbra y las aldeias do Xisto.

Un lugar muy tranquilo, tal y como deseamos. Los propietarios un 10, aunque el idioma puso un poco de barrera, fueron muy amables y tuvieron el detalle de ponernos un pastel de carne de bienvenida y una botella de vino de la tierra.

Er was geen mogelijkheid om buiten te kunnen zitten. Vooraf na gevraagd of er een buiten ruimte was. Deze was een gangetje boven aan de trap tussen het huis en die van buren van 1.5 m breed. Foto geeft het buiten aan.

Lovely quaint & quiet place with superb wood burner and just enough modern conveniences to make it easy enough for us to cook a Christmas Dinner!!! We really enjoyed the stay.

Needs a new shower mat & perhaps 1 more electric heater. Gas cooker needs a service.

The owners were very kind and even made food for us on the first night. The house was quite clean and we had all the facilities we needed. Very close to Coimbra for a day visit.

Not a downside, but some of the facilities were dated which took a little getting used to

It was as expected for a 'pet friendly' accom, anyone with a pet who needs pet friendly accom will know what I mean, but the downside is the parking, the listing should really come with a warning about the road up to the house, anything bigger than a ford focus and you will run the risk of clipping a bumper, try to get into it with a bmw 5 series or larger and you are going to be in trouble, and in a ford transit van you are definitely in trouble, no warning signs at the beginning of the lane showing width restrictions, I must have caused over a thousand euros worth of damage to bumpers and panels, and I am used to driving around Portugal after being here for 3 years.................it needs mentioning on the listing, or come into the village at the top end and park outside the cafe and walk the 200yrds or so to the house.

Good value for the money. Confortable with good facilities. The house is cool in hot days.

The street to get there is very narrow. Not easy to drive to there.

Great hospitality with a very friendly check in. Lots of extra spoils included, fresh flowers and cake were a wonderful homely touch. Jorge and his family made us feel very welcome.
