Excellent accueil avec de gentilles attentions. Une vue magnifique sur la mer. Beaucoup de charme!

La pièce à vivre est petite. Pas de souci car nous vivions dehors, mais en cas d'intempéries,cela peut être juste!

Wir wurden von Dawn, unserer Gastgeberin, mit Brot, Wein und Käse begrüßt und erhielten eine kurze Erläuterung zum Haus und zum Ort. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Wir hatten von der Terrasse aus, auf der man hervorragend frühstücken oder zu Abend essen konnte, einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Wir haben auch Nelson, unseren sehr hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, kennengelernt sowie Lucky, den neuesten Familienzuwachs, eine verspielte junge Hundedame. Wir hatten hier einen ruhigen und sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt und sagen nochmal: Vielen Dank!

Dawn and Nelson are kind and welcoming people who made me feel at home when I arrived. They gave me some produce from their garden which was kind. The location is idyllic, providing a calm, peaceful terrace overlooking the ocean. We saw whales every day including a pod of orca. If you want to explore the island it’s better to rent a car for this location. Otherwise if you want to simply rest and reset you don’t need one but it’s advisable to bring food with you. Lucky the dog is an absolute cutie and came to say hello and play with us each day.

Beautiful and well equipped apartment. It's small but we felt home immediately. Dawn is a lovely host that made us feel so welcome telling us about the materials used to built the house and providing local products as a welcome gift.

Everything ! Dawn and Nelson are such amazing hosts! You can see that they put all their heart in the place as it is full of cultural details. This place has such an unique vibe. It is ideally located in a quiet village in the island but still really convenient to go visit all the major touristic attractions. Just next to the most beautiful natural pools in the island (literally down the road). Nice attention to the guest as well : fresh bread, bottle of wine from Pico, cheese. We will definitely come back ! Best accommodation ever!

Nothing, this place is paradise on earth!

What can I say…AMAZING!! Maybe our best stay in Azores: the place seems to be from a fairytale!! The village Calheta is so small and so calm you will be in complete peace, almost like being out of the world, and the apartment is also amazing: you have a view on the ocean, and a very characteristic house! The host is so gentle and so nice: he waited for us welcoming with a bread and wine! His wife and him are also giving advices and you can have a nice chat about the place! We are coming back for sure!!

The hosts are very welcoming and were always available for a chat or to answer questions. We loved the bread, cheese and the home made tuna! The view is amazing: spotting dolphins and even whales from the terrace was very special! The house is nice, it has everything you need.

The beds were a bit too firm for our taste

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful view from the terrace and the village and natural pools are accessible on foot. Great location to explore Pico. The house was well equipped and very comfortable.
