Come andare a dormire a casa di nonna, un tuffo nel passato, un tuffo nella vita degli altri. Tutto impeccabile, come lo sono le case delle nonne. Gestori gentilissimi, cordiali, familiari. Alloggio rustico, semplice, antico ma ben tenuto. Perfetto per una famiglia che con budget limitato non vuole rinunciare a piccoli viaggi. Meravigliosi i dintorni.

We were a group of 4 and stayed just one night (should have been at least one more). Quiet place, very clean, small garden as sitting area in the front of the house, everything there for making breakfast: milk and coffee, tea, sparkling water, biscuits, jam. Just perfect.

A very welcoming and easygoing host. It was nice to have a full house of four rooms plus bathroom with parking and a small garden. The location is a good base for visiting Tuscany and Umbria. The host left for us many supplies for the Italian breakfast and also beverages in the fridge, milk and apples. The area is very quite. Only houses, no shop. There are mosquito nets at all windows. The bathroom and the bedrooms are big. There is an old washing machine that does its job. Although there is no air conditioning, by opening the windows on the right side of the house (depending on the hour) it was never too hot for us (early August).

It is important to know that the mobile phone network is very bad at the location. The voice line every now and then does not work.The data line (and internet) is basically not available and this made it difficult for us to organize trips, and sometimes to communicate, while at home. Not a fault of the owners but important to know because it is not a thing we are used anymore. The furniture and appliances work but they are pretty old (sort of granny's times). Some renovation is advisable. For instance, the TV in the bedroom works but the one in the living room is too old for the current broadcasting standard and should either be changed or removed. The beds are big but bedsprings were not so comfortable to us. Mosquito nets are at all windows but they need maintenance. I would consider upgrading also the stove. Please, take these comments as a suggestion for improvement.
