The location is perfect )literally a minutes walk to the lake!) and the lodge is set on there most beautiful grounds- only a 10 minute walk max to all the park and restaurants areas - stunning location old Como lake in Mandello del Lario 👍👍

Wonderful!!!! Host Dario is the best, super helpful and give you plenty of space. Town is a dream. Charming unique stay. Like a storybook.

The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has basic supplies and simple cookware. The stove is the induction type. Plenty of hot water. Lovely quiet location inside the manicured garden. Dario the owner is very polite and friendly. Was helpful to me on more than one occasion. I would definitely stay again.

There is parking available but you are required to exit the front gate and then walk up the alley to another metal door which you must then use to get to the apartment. The family does not want you to use the easier and more direct route which goes from the parking area, directly by their swimming pool and their house. I understand but it does make it more difficult for the guest.

Dreamy private cottage where you wake up to birdsong and the glimpses of Lake Como through a lovely garden space. Bed was soooo comfortable- nice kitchenette with table, very charming details, bathroom was great, everything clean, even the couch was comfy! Hosts could not be more warm and helpful, they are local and have a deep love for their town, typical northern Italians, fashionable, sophisticated, warm and kind. Lake is a few steps away down a little street. An interesting walk takes you to the ferry where there are boats connecting to Bellagio where you can reach anywhere else on the lake. You will be amazed at Bellagio and Varenna but your heart will be left in Modello.

Dario is an excellent host, funny, helpful & very knowledgeable about the town & its surrounds. The casetta was so inviting the grounds are beautiful the view of the mountains when you wake breathtaking. We can't recommend this beautiful place & it's village enough we didn't want to leave . Dario was there to see us off with a big smile & a big hug .We will never forget this experience.

Great location , beautiful garden very convenient location. Dario was very friendly and helpful he dropped us to wedding event and train station also got us some nice photoshoot as a gift ! Thanks a lot !

All well just the bed for me was too hard but for h mom was ok
