Microwave poor condition, shower room sink reluctance to empty, TV aerial hanging down, so couldn`t watch any tv, the cupboard on which the tv sat in my opinion is life expired, and could be hazardous to any young children staying at the property, also the outside door lock was quite stiff in operation.

Property host communicates well. location makes travelling around the island easy. A few local take away and a coop just up the road. Comfortable for two people. Great parking just across the road. Located next to a pub however this was being refurbished so no comments on any possible noise disturbance.

Unfortunately having stayed in many such accommodations I would say this is over priced in comparison. Definetly needs some TLC in basic areas such as cleanliness. I had to move the TV which behind was quite shocking, clumps of hair on the carpet, long strands of hair in the bed and on towels. Very dusty fan extractor in the bathroom, considering you pay a cleaning fee you would expect cleanliness. WIFI rarely worked without lots of interruption. Awful smell of wet dog throughout making upstairs quite uncomfortable especially. Had to wash some cloths that son had left on the floor when we got home. The double bed is awful and every time you move makes a lot of noise. To the point we ended up leaving a night early.

Location was fine for our purpose of stay

Sorry to have to say but the property was absolutely filthy. Dust absolutely everywhere and lots of it probably not been cleaned for at least a month possibly longer. Old dirty socks from previous occupants under the bunkbeds upstairs. Lots of debris, food, other items, etc under the cushions on the sofa downstairs. Food in the doorway of the oven when it was opened and on one of the trays in the oven. The telly didn’t work as the aerial kept falling out wouldn’t stay in, Firestick didn’t work so we had no tv to watch. The selection of DVDs that were said to have been left for us related to only one. Playing cards had cards missing so not a full deck. The board game was only a quarter there, 3/4 of that was missing. Old balloon left behind the telly. The dust behind the telly was something else. Even the notice asking for us to leave a review on Facebook and Instetgram was so dusty. Hairs left in the shower. We actually left a day early because it was just so bad. Unfortunately unable to find somewhere else to stay otherwise we would have left on day one
