Mooie, verzorgde accommodatie, met een perfecte ligging. Prachtige vergezichten, in een Italiaans dorpje, met een supermarktje en restaurants op loopafstand. Parkeren gratis op eigen terrein. Ook ideaal voor tripjes naar Lucca en Florence met de trein.

L’appartement de la villa est parfait à tout point de vue ! Confortable, calme, propre, très bien équipé, même quand vous avez un bébé. La vue et le panorama sont à couper le souffle, le matin comme le soir. Le coucher de soleil est grandiose. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont très agréables, très bien conçus. L’emplacement à Coreglia est très bien pour rayonner dans la région, pour les activités culturelles ou sportives. Arie et son épouse sont des hôtes charmants, prévenants et adorables. Ils nous ont fourni de très bons conseils et sont très réactifs. Tout était parfait. Je recommande fortement ! Nous espérons revenir avec des amis.

Villa Pavone sits in a beautiful hillside location with sweeping views and the charm of a small medieval village, making it a good base for exploring Lucca and the Garfagnana. The apartments have rustic character, the pool looks inviting, and on-site parking, though on a slope, is convenient.

Our stay was less relaxing than expected. The pool area was often noisy with children and the hosts socialising, and the hot tub felt more like part of another rental. Facilities didn't match the online description with no coffee maker, oven, or dishwasher,and only a small portable shared BBQ hogged by the other occupants that was never cleaned and a fanciful listing of extras such as an ATM, shop,hair salon and spa that simply don’t exist on the property. There were 3 rentals on top of each other and noise carried easily between apartments, the mattress was very uncomfortable. Hosts smoking near guests was very unpleasant and contradicted the non-smoking policy stated. The recycling bins in the rental didn’t match the curbside system, so when we asked Ari about it we were left to sort through our rubbish ourselves on the side of the road. Perhaps arriving late after flight delays didn’t help, but the hosts came across as cold and sometimes overbearing, which set an unwelcome tone. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and may be better suited to families with children than to couples seeking peace and privacy.

Prachtige locatie, de faciliteiten waren top. Het uitzicht in de hottub is bijna niet te evenaren. Verder voelde wij ons zeer welkom door de host, met een bubbel als welkomstgeschenk en we mochten ook de parasol lenen toen we naar een strand gingen. Een echte aanrader voor wanneer je naar Toscane gaat

Unvergesslicher Ausblick von der Terrasse, super schönes Haus und Pool, perfect gelegen direkt neben einem keinen Supermarkt der zwei Häuser weit weg ist, gute Ausstattung im Haus vom Besteckt hin zu den Betten. Viel Ruhe zum entspannen. Tolle ruhige Gegend, es war ein kurzer aber beeindruckender Aufenthalt.

Es gibt da nichts zu bemängeln

Wir haben eine Woche in der Villa Pavone verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Wohnung sehr geräumig, wirklich sauber und toll eingerichtet. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Backofen, Grill sind vorhanden. Sogar ein paar Gewürze (Salz, Pfeffer sowie Mehl, Zucker, Essig und Öl) stehen zur Verfügung. Wir fanden es auch schön, dass für jeden Gast ein Poolhandtuch (Hamamtuch) für den großen und offenbar neuen Pool bereit lag. Das WLAN ist ausgezeichnet - wir haben eine Internetgeschwindigkeit von 250 Mbit/s gemessen! Die Villa Pavone hat eine tolle Lage: Von der Terrasse mit Jacuzzi hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Berge und ein kleiner Supermarkt ist nur zwei Häuser entfernt. Eine Bar mit günstigen Preisen liegt ca drei Minuten Fußmarsch entfernt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist jedoch die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber, die im selben Haus wohnen. Arie und Annemieke haben uns tolle Anregungen für Ausflüge gegeben und waren immer bei Fragen in italienisch, deutsch, englisch, niederländisch und französisch ansprechbar (ohne aufdringlich zu sein). Sie haben sich sogar telefonisch bei einen Freund erkundigt, um uns noch Tipps zu einem Ausflug zu geben. Herzlichen Dank!

Wir haben lange nachgedacht, aber uns fällt nichts ein, das uns nicht gefallen hätte - außer das teilweise verregnete Wetter Ende Juli. 😉
