Casa Fortu La Palma

The apartment is simply the best I have stayed in on any of the Canary Islands sofar. It is clean, comfortable and has everything, especially the kitchen 😍 (including a coffee machine, a microwave oven, a mini oven, an airfryer, assorted teas, a water dispenser with mineral water.. and a small welcome gift upon my arrival 🥰). There is a big patio with lawnchairs and a separate washroom with a washing machine AND a dryer (perfect for someone travelling with only hand luggage and few clothes, like me). The apartment itself does not get direct sun, which is perfect, because it stays nice and cool - so I'm really looking forward to coming back next June, when it will get warmer than now in March. Everything you need is in walking distance: bigger supermarkets (in addition to the little shop/drugstore literally next door), the bus stop to Tazacorte+Puntagorda, the main bus station (perfect for people without cars, like me) and also the town centre. Silvia is awesome - the communication is quick and super friendly, at the beginning she came by to say hallo and brought strawberries 🍓😍 AND when she realized it was my birthday vacation, she baked me the most amazing orange cake - I was lost for words. So it's no surprise, that her guests come back to one of her two apartments - some even stay multiple months! And I'm coming back next year ☺️. All in all - I can only recommend Villa Fortù!

Very clean, well equipped. Lots of care taken to make the stay comfortable. Easy to park , buy food and walk to the centre of town for coffee!

Everything, our host took care of all our needs. Another couple upstairs became good friends during our stay. The apartmentos is well stocked for everything you need. Our host even gave us a ride to the airport. We will definitely be back.

The apartment was fine for our 3 night stay as we were only there in the evenings. Sylvia was very helpful before and during our stay and responded to messages very quickly. We didn't actually meet her until we were leaving. There is everything you need in the apartment with basic salt, pepper, some spices, oil etc. provided so we didn’t have to buy things we would barely use. There were 3 alternatives for making fresh coffee as well as a supply of instant coffee and tea. Everything was clean and comfortable and it was good to have the outdoor space and the wash house in addition to the apartment. The location is good. Close to buses and shops but also quiet.

The apartment is very compact and worked well for us as we were out all day but would be tight if we had needed to stay indoors. The single bed felt like it needed renewing.

Cute and comfortable apartment, not far from Los llanos center, small supermarket next door, very nice and helpful owner. Parking is usually available on the street, at least at daytime.

I stayed in the apartment on the ground floor with a large "terrace" which is actually a courtyard for exclusive use. Unfortunately, neighboring houses obstruct sunshine for half of the day.

perfect for us, was clean and tidy and had lots of stuff. garden area was private and caught sun. very convenient having store next door. owner gave lots of tips on where to go and where to eat.

The apartment is as 10 minute walk from the centre of Los Llanos and you can park a car on the street outside. It is very well presented and without doubt the best equipped place we have stayed in. Sylvia has thought of just about evertything you could need on holiday, from toiletries, beach towels, wide range of kitchen ingredients and utensils, information on the area, suggestions for places to eat, sewing kit, washing machine and detergent, the list goes on! The outside space is brilliant, effectively your own private walled garden with sun loungers, dining table and big parasol. Sylvia is very quick to respond to any queries you may have and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. at Casa Fortu. We would certainly book the apartment again if we return to the island.
