Villa Puccini

Very good location, clean. The host was very kind. The two bathrooms make the house extremely comfortable to use.

We stay at Villa Puccini with our child and our friends for 5 days. House had that Charme of good old Times, Just like we prefer. We also manage to Visit A few beaches at Livorno, Viareggio, Tirenia... We had some Problems with our car, and our host Manlio happens to be of the great help. Everything Was perfect in the end of hollidays. Thanks Manlio.

It was Hot, almoust too hot, but IT did not spoil our Experience...

Location was superb

Outside furniture is tired and pots with dead plants

1. lots of space, which is the key selling point of this house. 2. walking distance to everything at Montecatini Terme 3. the owner/manager is a nice guy that tries his best to help as he sees it in his own mind 4. there was a space to put our car by the house for the duration of 2 weeks we were there 5. washing machine.

1. The house itself - this is not a place that has guests in mind. The house is actually a 5 bedroom house with 2 bedrooms on a quieter side of the street locked with all the stuff left from the previous owners, namely the host’s grandparents that are no longer living. The stuff they accumulated is in the house, with lots of furniture locked and unaccessible. for instance old cupboards and wardrobes are there in the bedrooms used for guests, smells of camphor balls, you can’t even open them. there are also things like ‘stone collection’ that occupy useful space where you could put your bags. 2. Most of the space is not usable, most armchairs are old and VERY uncomfortable, same is true about the chairs in the dining room. The fireplace emits very strong odor, typical for places with bad air flow in the chimney. We aired the house for 2 weeks in a good weather, and the moment you close windows the back of your throat gets itchy and you can’t be there in that big room because of that smell. 3. Good night sleep is a BIG issue. There is a Piccolo bar right across the road that sells cheap beer to the youth that flocks there from all over. The noise they make goes on till 2-3 in the morning. EVERY day. And to add some salt to this wound, there is a hotel right next door that caters to school age groups, kids 15-18 years old, that never want to sleep. They shout and scream as if they are in the bedroom where you sleep because the noise comes right into your space. We like fresh air at night, if you are the same, bring something to kill the noise in order to sleep. 4. the second bathroom does not have a window, and does not have any real ventilation.

Loved the house,so art deco ,very comfortable and wonderful to have a garden,close to everything. Our host Manlio was fantastic couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Thankyou so much for sharing your home with us.
