Villa Santa Bárbara

It was a perfect location. It was about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Porto but there was public transport nearby. It was also only a 10Euro bolt to the centre. We had our own pool also!

Excellent host, who was so helpful. His hospitality was amazing. Recommendations were spot on, and he even drove us to the train station and ensured we got on the right one. The apartment was a very high standard and very comfortable. Everything we needed. The grounds and pool area are excellent, with lots of room. Very quiet area and an authentic Porto experience away from the hustle and bustle of Porto central.

Once found, this was like a little oasis in the Porto region. The little house is completely enclosed in a very spacious yard with a pool and parking space. Although on the opposite side of Porto center, bus transport was close by, convenient and cheaper than parking. A large shopping area is within walking distance. Our host, Nino, was very helpful and knowledgeable. We so enjoyed sitting out on the terrace each evening. Both grocery store and restaurants were close by.

Initially a bit difficult to find given the.one way, narrow streets. With only a love seat, the sitting area could do with a chair and a lamp for reading.

This is probably the best booking.com experience I’ve ever had! Beautiful house with a private swimming pool and the host Nuno brings the experience to a different level. He is so knowledgeable not only about Porto but also gave us a lot or tips to travel around Portugal. Highly recommended!!

Everything was great and we would love to stay again when visisting Porto :) It's a very nice place, recently renovated in the really good location for exploring the city. Spacious, clean and equipped with all you need to have comfortable stay. Uber/Bolt can take you to the left bank of the river for less than 5 EUR, public transport also available. It's run by the super nice and helpful host, who can give you tips what to see, where to eat, not only in Porto etc.

Gate to the parking is rather narrow so it's a bit tricky to drive for the first time ;)

We loved the location and all of the recommendations of our host. Nearby the city, but the house was in a quiet area and with swimming pool was great

Our whole experience was exceptional. Amazing place to stay, extremely fantastic host, brilliant, knowledgeable driver who chauffeured us around. Cannot fault anything and would definitely return. 😊

Everything was just perfect : from the location of the house to the kindness of our host. We couldn’t have hoped for a better stay in Porto. We will come back for sure !
