No. 14, Park Street

A beautiful house in the perfect location to explore The Cotswolds. The house is clean, with lovely beds and bed linen, well equipped kitchen, all round must stay. Some food bits on arrival were a nice touch too. Great communication and information from the owners. Highly recommend.

The location was great No breakfast

No hooks in bathrooms. Problems with the shower drain. Night tables in two of the rooms.A chair at the entrance to take off the shoes

The linen and quality of bedding was exceptional. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. The lounge was comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Parking was easy, and we managed to park directly outside the property. Instructions were clear and made arrival and departure a breeze. There was a good supply of games, which we enjoyed, and books if we so desired.

The top floor bathroom- we had no water from the hot tap. We think there was an airlock, which we resolved on the second day. There were a couple of minor niggles. The master shower had a broken clip on the shower head which had previously been glued and came apart. The front door locking latch fell out and is loose. The lights over the dining room table were not working, and the switch is broken.

Lots of space and quiet

Little things like the wood burner door knob not kept falling off, one of the bed side lights not working etc. Not the hosts fault but the parking in Stow is so difficult even on a wet and windy day. Why do these people come and park up and walk around aimlessly on a horrible day?

It was particularly homely & cosy. We loved the log burner. Beautiful bedrooms with excellent en-suite facilities. Tastefully decorated. Very relaxing.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but if anything could do with more kitchen utensils.

Location

There wasn’t really a thing we didn’t like, it could have had a larger coffee table in the lounge and a chair in the hall that you could sit on.

We loved this clean, tastefully furnished, well-equipped, and perfectly located cottage. The host even went out of their way to provide us bread, milk, butter and jam for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at the cottage.

It drizzled a bit during our stay so a few umbrellas left somewhere near and inside the front door for use would be great. However, this doesn't take away anything at all from how wonderful this cottage is.
