Akureyri - cabin with an amazing view

The big kitchen with an island where you can cook while enjoying a view, the porch where you sit reading and enjoying the amazing view of the fjord and the tabletop mountains with streaks of white snow.

No access to the laundry room Could not heat the hot tub The end of the guard rail had a sharp edge which got one of us hurt.

Amazing view over the fjord and of Akureyri. The highlight is definitely the big terrace with the hotpot. If there wasn’t so much to do in the area, we could have spend all of our time in the hotpot. There is also a sauna room a bit to the side of the house and a lovely stone collection.

House has amazing location and view from the house is like no other, very relaxing and quiet place. We enjoyed the stay there very much.Thank you our nice host, she was always helpful and very polite.

The view, the space, hot tub, all the little accessories we could want and everything worked perfectly.

It would have been nice to have real blackout shades that cover the whole windows in the bedrooms.

The views were amazing. Add into that the hot tub and you couldn’t ask for more!

The view was absolutely phenomenal! This home is clean and spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked. The hot tub on the deck was the highlight of our trip to Iceland! We loved off-roaring to this hidden gem!!! The small details from the incredible collection of geodes and other rocks edging the deck to the binoculars inside, provided lovely touches. We cannot wait to return!

We spent four nights at this beautiful property overlooking Akureryi. It was comfortable and had everything we needed including laundry, which is essential for a long trip. The views are spectacular and the place is super quiet even though you're overlooking the town.
