Just perfect! No crowds as its a traditional village with no car access and easy walk .

All was perfect

Loved this experience as I wanted something quiet and relaxing. Stayed in Cortina suite which was lovely and quirky, clean, comfy bed and good wifi. The jacuzzi with large balcony overlooking the village is reached by going up some interesting stairs so if you’re on the clumsy side or have mobility issues better off asking for one of the other suites. The rooms are in the middle of Emporio village and I loved the adventure of locating the property every time I headed out. As mentioned by other reviewers you’re better off renting a car as it’s not close to any of the popular tourist spots. I would definitely stay at Nalas Suites again.

The suites, quaint little traditional apartments accessed through little alleyways (easy to lose your bearings!!) Emporio is a great location and not too 'touristy' but would recommend hiring a car. If you don't mind the walk Perissa beach is approx 30-40 minutes. Many lovely restaurants within a 15 minute drive. We drove to Fira and Oia on separate occasions and returned quite quickly, Fira was rammed with cruise day tourists and Oia the same with tens of coaches unloading, stick to the South of the island is my recommendation.

Such a nice location in car-free village. Lovely sundeck with jacuzzi and wonderful views, especially in the evening when it’s dark. Great place for relaxation. The suite was clean and good bed to sleep in. Loves the a/c too. One amazing traditional small cafe just 100m from the suite and The Old barber’s shop (small restaurant) close too with amazing local food. Supermarket is close too.

Nothing that I did not like but maybe more cutlery and some more tableware would be nice in the kitchen. Also basic wine glasses would be nice to have so you could properly enjoy local wine at the sundeck in the evening :)
