Casa da Corisca

Perfect location if you want to make Villa Franca do Campo your base camp during your time in Sao Miguel. It worked perfectly for us to get to all parts of the island for the several activities we had planned during our stay. The host is excellent with clear timely communication, directions to the property and check in procedures. The place is well equipped, comfortable, clean and more than enough for two adults or a family with a couple of kids. Ample free parking is available opposite to this place. The internet was great, cable TV, clothes drying rack, dehumidifier, coffee maker and so on just made our stay pleasant. The little patio area in the backyard is nice to hang out at during evenings. Would certainly stay here if we are back in the island again.

None worth mentioning

We loved it ! The house is very clean, nicely decorated, well equipped, we found everything we need. Self check-in with keys in the box. Supermarket 3 min ride. Ocean 5 min walking. Wifi worked well. There are dehumidifier and a heating, all our clothes dried quickly. Make sure the mosquito nets in on the window, otherwise a huge cockroach will pay you a visit (never saw cockroach that big, but i read that's commun in Azores).

Everything was fine. Just maybe makes sens to note what to do with garbage: where to put glass/plastic and what time put the garbage bag outside. Can't say the bed/pillow were very comfortable, but it's individual preference, you can't please everyone.

We spent 4 days in this house and we really liked everything. Everything in the house was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed for cooking, the house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Great location. There is parking next to the house

Michael the host was very engaging and very helpful during our stay. He recommended some great places to visit.

Going home ha ha

The house has a nice backyard with a complete barbecue ready to fire, free and easy parking, and the host offered a welcome box with local products.

The mattresses were a bit too hard, the living room could use more comfy sofa and the house needs a good ventilation/AC system (the windows were not enough).

Design, the kitchen, parking and being able to walk everywhere.

Casa da Corisca is a very well equipped holiday house with everything what you need. Everything is very clean and well decorated! We also loved the little garden at the backyard. Michael, the host of Casa da Corisca is very nice and always makes sure you feel comfortable and that you have everything what you need! Thank you Michael for the great stay! We’ll return for sure!
