B&B Villa lucia

The owners gave us all the informations we needed to arrive a bit late and to find all the equipments. Breakfast was displayed on the table with eggs, milk, coffee,tea and various pastries & biscuits. We had the whole house for ourselves.

The lack of a heating system. It was quite cold at night and a bit dumped in the house. The water heating system for the shower has a small capacity for 2 people. Pastries were mostly industrials and I know Italy has good bakeries. A bit of a pity.

Great communication from the host. We had the whole apartment to ourselves. Arrived in the afternoon so had time to visit the beach, have a swim and drive around so we could see where we would dine that evening. A one night stay as leaving for a 10.50am flight next day. Very clean and roomy. Yes, a little old fashioned but appreciate the fact you need to cover soft furnishings to protect them when renting property. Bedrooms each had a TV ... we had forgotten our UK sockets so tried to charge our phones via the TV but didn't work. Had a pm Zoom call so stable wifi was welcome. Food/beverage wise lots of sweet carby food we wouldn't generally eat (but we did sample!). Brought milk for partner and there was juice, water and eggs in the fridge so we had scrambled for breakfast (self serve). Great to have a juicer (we had picked up some oranges en route and then the host dropped some of theirs off). Loved the coffee machine and pods. Would really like to go back in Summer when the days are warmer, eat outside and visit the long empty beaches and take some of the long walks to get to know the area.. Recommend it for a family or two couples as ample living space, indoor and outdoor.

We had our own car so didn't need to avail of the generous airport pick-up that other renters mention. I don't know why this is a feature in some places in Italy (also found it in Mexico on our trip last year) but many do not place any signs on the road or street to alert you that you have arrived at the apartment/rental/Air B&B). We had been sent a link which worked just fine but there were several paths leading off the road to homes and we could have chosen any of these three as google maps are not always accurate. So, if coming with your own transport please note you need to open a gate and then drive through to the apartment. There is a field to the left as you drive in. Perhaps this is a security measure that there are no notification but it really could save stress and aggravation if there was one simple sign somewhere obvious.

Everything was perfect. Large house. Amazing location. Maurizio is a very cool guy.

this property has everything you need! we stopped in after a long flight and appreciated the coffee and snacks available to us upon checking at no additional cost! Water in the fridge, clean towels and a washing machine made it all the better.

opening a few windows and turning on the A.C. we’re needed upon arrival. otherwise, everything was great!

The villa is spatious and very confortable. The AC is efficient. The kitchen is big and a washing machine available. The bedrooms are quiet and the beds of high quality. I slept much better than usual. The communication was the manager outstanding.

The villa is not located in the beautiful place in Italy. However, its location was nevertheless perfect for my itinerary.
