Casa das Palmeiras

Everthing was perfect. House is good situated on the island. It is 15 minutes to Ponta Delgada by car. Rooms were clean. Back of the house is good backyard and garden for relaxing.

Except parking but it was written on booking that parking is on the stret. The house is situated in curve of frequently road. Even in night there is a traffic almost every 5 minutes. Streets are very narrow. During a day is traffic very higj and it is problematic to go anywhere. Cars are very fast in that place even if they dont see where ate they going to.

Amazing traditional fully renovated Azorian house, fully equipped with all you need - full kitchen equipment, washing machine, etc. And some Asorian products as welcome gift. Huge beautiful garden only for you to enjoy. With garden table and sunbeds. Super nice and helpful owner. Great localization to start trips around the island, only 10min by car to Ponta Delgada and 10 min by car to the great sandy beach Santa Barbara. 5 min walking there is a shop you can buy food etc. Private parking place (you need additional person to help to go out from it safety due to the traffic) but there is as lot of free public parking spaces super close to house, so no issue with parking at all. We would love to come back :) amazing stay

House is located close to the street with bedroom windows on this side / so it could be a little loudly in the night from driving cars. But if you close the window is ok. We knew about it before and really it was not a big issue for us.

Nice, clean house. Welcoming gifts were appreciated. The house had everything you needed to cook etc. Owner is nice and helpful. Personally I think that problem with parking is exaggerated. Parking is okeyish if you are with at least one more person. One person checks the road, second is leaving the driveway with car. The gate is wide, so no worries with scratching the car.

Indeed, the house is on very narrow street and people drive there very fast. Two sleeping rooms are located on the side of the house where is road. There is a very big noise coming from that street, therefore this is something that I did not like.

The house was well equipped and has a beautiful garden and terrace behind. Unfortunately we did not spend too much time at home to enjoy this extra outside space. Clean and everything you need for some days of holiday. Easy to get to Ponta Delgada and quick to go to the north coast.

The house is located at a busy street and cars pass by very quick and can be pretty loud. So during the night we had to close the windows to get a good sleep... specially at weekend days / nights there is a lot of noise from the cars going up fast the hill. And you should be careful getting in and out of the house since there are only very tiny side walks. No restaurants very close so you need the car.
