Treehouse - Hot Tub

Hot tub. Peace.

Slightly under stocked kitchen. Needed a frying pan and a few utensils

Loved location and caravan was amazing

Only down side to our stay was having to be out the hot tub at 10pm

I emailed the day before we arrived to ask about checking in/key collection and the owners responded same day with good instructions. We asked for a 3pm checkin instead of 4pm which we were give, much appreciated! Location was good, the caravan in situated in a quiet area of the park but it’s a relatively quiet park anyway. Close to local pubs, restaurants and the sights. Was a half hour drive to the nearest beach for a lovely long walk. We liked the enclosed area for the hot tub so it was nice and private. The hot tub was amazing and one of the highlights of our stay. Heating worked well and the seating area was comfortable, lots of cushions and throws which we used for our little dog. There was plenty of space in the main bedroom, the second room is typically caravan small size. The bathrooms were modern, nice and clean with good working loos and a good shower. We loved the fact we had a dishwasher which always makes a l difference for such short breaks too. Towels (1 each) and linen were provided. There was soap, bin bags, cleaning spray, bleach etc under the sink. Good Wi-Fi and connection overall.

Kitchen facilities aren’t great, there’s a mish mash of crockery, glasses, cutlery etc but we were able to piece together enough for each meal and adapted where we had to. The oven door is loose and didn’t feel safe, one bottom drawer fascia is barely hanging on. Mattresses are a little on the thin size, my daughter had to sleep in the lounge as she could feel all the lumps and connectors in the single mattress. There is storage half the shelving areas are locked up so we ran out of space and used plastic bags instead. When watching tv, if anyone went to use the bathroom or get something from the kitchen, the tv would glitch.

Really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The location was fantastic for lots of walks. The park itself f is lovely as well. The beds were really comfortable and when the heating was on, the place was cosy and warm. We loved the outdoor shower, especially for the dog.

We didn't like being emailed that we could check in at 3, and on arrival there was a man in the accommodation, fixing the TV. Could have done with more towels for three Days, 2 small towels isn't really enough. The gas oven was dodgy. Worked ok on the first night but on the second, the gas kept cutting out. Could have done with a couple more wine glasses for outside as one was broken and only 1 wine glass for inside. Just minor things really, as overall, enjoyed a relaxing stay.

The area

No normal TV channels so limited with what to watch and an engineer didn't arrive till sat afternoon but couldn't fix it. Also the oven kept going out.

The location and place was fab

The TV was difficult to get channels ie normal TV The oven would not work, but microwave did the job

The property was modern and clean the hot tub was great and the enclosed area which no others had was excellent for the dog.

We were only able to watch Netflix as digital TV for standard channels didn’t appear to work
