"Perfect Stay"

Ideal location- quiet and peaceful, well laid out gardening for sharing the facilities with others. Cleanliness of the highest standard. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of utensils/crockery etc. Spacious parking area. Host was very welcoming, and knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely recommend and hope to return. Good value for money. Nice pool, sauna area.

The gite itself was lovely. Nice outdoor eating area and shared pool which our daughter loved. Host quick to respond to questions. 10 minute drive to Honfleur. Clean and lots of cutlery and cooking equipment.

The little bar/ shop in the village is permanently closed. We booked mainly because of this facility. Would be helpful to let guests know this is no longer open. The extra payment for bedding and towels seemed a bit steep. Nothing was supplied in the gite other than a roll of loo paper. No hand wash or washing up liquid etc. We arrived late on a Sunday and had to find a shop that was open (most places shut at noon Sunday). We found the casino shop in honfleur. Some basic essentials would be very welcome on arrival after a long drive, especially as no local shops. A few tea bags and coffee would be great as so remote. One tea towel was provided for the whole week. 2 or 3 were needed. We asked the host where we can find an open shop and were just told everything shuts at noon sorry. We did our own research and found somewhere ourselves. Quite a few places open in honfleur if you do your research. Area is nice but not really walking distance to anywhere and the roads to honfleur are big main roads with no pavements. The nice property made up for location, but if you're hoping to walk to anything it's not possible. We had a 5 year old and our parents so were looking forward to walking to the local bar/ restaurant.
