Olive Tree Farm 200m from the beach

We liked the terrace, closeness to the beach and central location to explore the surrounding. Our son loved the cats and dog but those also brought downside (see below). The terrace to sit outside was nice.

The appartment was not very clean. Ants were everywhere: bath, kitchen, even in the bed. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Not everywhere were functional (without holes) insect (and cat) protection installed at the windows- hence you could not really let fresh air inside without having cats or mosquitoes. The bedroom with the single beds was really damp and even had black mould on the walls which is harmful to health!! Also the air conditioning in the bathroom didn’t work well so it was always damp. Another point were the cats: they always jumped on the table so we couldn’t eat outside and their and the dogs shit was everywhere in the garden.

Good place for a family with kids. There is a beach not too far away (though you have to cross a fairly busy street), and the kids can play on the property. We used it as a base to travel around the island by car and then grilled on the bbq at night. The place was air conditioned which was really nice during the hot days/nights.

Nice, clean, great location (a car is recommended although you can get to the beach in 10 min walk). The hosts live near so they are helpful if anything is needed. I also recommend home made olive oil which you can buy at a reasonable price - it's very nice! One bottle was awaiting us upon arrival!

The apartment is well equipped, but a few basic things were missing. Anytime we asked, the host provided, but at some point it was embarrassing to always ask.. so we didn't. A pot with a lid, fireplace equipment, more spoons.. (we did ask), some clothespins, laundry basket.. etc. nevertheless great apartment. Also we were shocked that no waste is recycled?!

We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, the place is lovely and clean, the hosts are kind and attentive, it’s close to the beach and places of interest, and it was very peaceful. We loved everything about it.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful and quiet accomodation in an agricultural area, far away from mass tourism. Convenient location to explore many interesting places on the island with a rental car, thanks to the proximity to the national road. Very friendly and helpful owners. They live in a separate house on the same land. Their dog is absolutely kind, calm and quiet. Private parking possible right next to the accomodation or outside of the property on the roadside. For us, this was exactly what we were looking for and we had a great time. But be aware that living in such an accommodation means that you will see some insects outside and sometimes also inside the house. That comes with living close to the nature.

Only thing that bothered us a little bit was the younger of the two cats. I can only assume that previous visitors have fed the cats and by that spoiled and trained her to constantly beg for food. Every time we tried to eat outside, the cat jumped on the table and wouldn't leave us alone until we went inside and closed the door.

Very near the beach and a good greek . Great quality/price ratio. Nice apartment corresponding to the description. Great location in the middle of nature.

We loved the fact that it's in the middle of the nature, but of course this has consequences. So, here a warning for the future guests: if you are looking for a sterile apartment like a 5-star hotel room, this is not for you. Being in the middle of nature means hearing cicadas all the time, having spiders around the apartment, european mantis, ants, etc. This was not a big deal for us: we had a great time even with a 4yo child.
