Finca La Paz

The fincas are very well maintained and the hosts are super nice. Very cozy and relaxing stay in between plantation. The views are nice from terraces. Location is good to visit Teide national park. There are some nice restaurants in the more local towns around here (need car though). It is a bit away from hustle and bustle and you definitely need a car when you stay here as there are no real places to visit on walking distance (but you need car generally in Tenerife to enjoy it with comfort).

We did not have a problem with it but it is a farm house and they have some pets like cats, a dog and some hens and roasters. The dog you would hardly see. The cats visit often and the roasters of course make noise early in the morning. It did not bother us but for light sleepers, it is something to consider. And the mattress was very difficult for us. It was a super soft mattress and would just push you in where you slept. This was the only issue for us. If they can put better mattresses, would be a perfect stay. The pool is heated but could be made a bit warmer in winters. We did not use and also was not a problem for us.

beautiful view from a hill towards the coast, totally quiet place, evenings under the stars, outside night lighting, spotles clean room and outside premises, (pool area, seating areas), parking inside, welcome drink, photos provided on booking site are real, staff very helpful and nice, drying rag outside but out of sight,

bits and pieces can be found: it has wooden cabine feel which it is, sagging mattress, increasing numbers of flies and ants moving into the room (nets in the door and windows would be advisable here), bad smell on entering the room as if of cleaning products or maybe an insecticid, no cleaning during few days stay, shower head leaking and without possible positioning only one knob high above, kitchen corner could upgrade, cold-white lighting is not particularly accommodating, needs more light above tables and stove (can’t see the food properly) and mirror, suggesting sliding door for the kitchen corner because you don’t want to hear the fridge at night

The peace , the views, cozy apartments, friendly staff and very nice open area with tress, plants, pool and a place to rest and be in company

Cockerel walking us up early but to be fair we were on a working farm .

Lourdes the hostess was very helpful and always answered my questions quickly. Nice location. Very quiet in the mountains. Beautiful views. There are only 5 chalets so not busy or noisy. Heated pool. Lovely gardens. Bus stop 15 minutes away. Nearest shop by the bus stop. Gated property was very safe. The property has a cooker, pots and pans, cooking utensils, washing up things, fridge and satellite TV. There is a shared microwave in the outhouse by the pool. Bring your own tea and coffee. Lourdes left a beautiful bottle of wine to enjoy with chocolates she provided. Plenty of soft towels and hot water. Very clean everywhere. Balcony area outside chalet. Can see mountains and the sea. Beautiful sunsets. Very well looked after south facing accommodation and a good quality vacation in the sunshine.

Next time I come I will hire a car. Without a car it's very hard to see the island properly. Buses are available nearby but it means walking up and down steep hills. There are 2 cockerills owned by the neighbours. They woke me up about 5am but I didn't mind too much since it added to the natural location. The guard dog was a bit scary but did no harm.
