Positano casa bella

Amazing and charming little house on Via Corvo near the top of Positano. Has a great view and you have the place to yourself. The main attraction is the deck/patio where you can see Positano and the ocean. Inside there are two bedrooms, small kitchen and small bathroom. There are fresh towels for showering and for the beach. WiFi is fast and reliable. The bus stop is literally just outside the house on the road so very convenient. Short walk (stairs) to bars and restaurants and markets.

Just to note that the kitchen is quite small with two stove tops but we were not doing any cooking so it was not a big deal for us. Also wanted to note that this house is at the top of Positano so getting home is a trek up the stairs or waiting for the bus which comes every hour.

The beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Owner had useful things to use, like scissors, hair dryer, tea, converter. Located next to the local bus stop. A good family run restaurant and market just up the street a ways.

The big tree could use a big trimming to have an unobstructed view of Positano from the entire rooftop, as well as from inside the villa.

The view was spectacular

There seemed to be thousands of ants in the property (as well as the rest of the town). There were not any sealable-containers so it was a constant battle. We did not leave food stuff strewn about but the ants found whatever we had. Ziploc bags did not deter, and we very quickly ran out of the ones we brought. They seemed to come in counter window, ran down the walls, counter tops, chairs, floor. They overran the bathroom floor, climbed all over our feet and legs, and then went wherever we did. We sorted trash as requested, but had no idea where to take it to when our bags were full. And of course, the elevation that gave the property such great views, was also its biggest detriment. Living in the flatlands of the Midwest, the number of stairs to get to anywhere could be overwhelming. It was great to be there once, but will not likely return.

Good view and balcony up on the hill above positano. Host was very informative. Positano was very expensive so this was reasonably priced. I quite liked it ws away from the busyness of down in the town. The bus stop is right outside to get down into positano. There's also a nice cheapish family run Italian restaurant just up from the property and a little deli grocery store down the stairs

The house boasts a prime location with breathtaking ocean views. Melania, the host, provided us with invaluable insights on local activities and navigating the surrounding areas. In addition, the house exudes both comfort and style, although being situated next to rocks has resulted in some humidity. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall experience.
