Host was very friendly and helpful. He left us some stuff to make dinner for a couple of night which was really great and water. The apartment was well stocked for paper towel and toilet paper. Beds were quite comfortable and everything was walkable from the apartment.

There is no on-site parking as it says in the listing. You will need to find street parking around the corner and if you're lucky it's free. If there is no availability you will have to park quite far and in a paid lot. Kitchen is not very useable. There are no pans, only pots. It would have been nice to have a new sponge or something to clean the dishes with. There's limited options for glassware. When you use the washing machine the drum will scream when it goes around, I would suggest putting it on while you're out if you don't want to hear the awful noise it makes. One room has no windows at all and the other has a window set deep into the wall. I found the airflow in the apartment to be non existent unfortunately.

Location was really good, nice shower and cooking facilities.

The weather was so good it was a pity there wasn’t any outside space to sit and relax in the sun.

Perfect place near Avola's historic part where there's a nice main square with pleasant atmosphere at night. The apartment is comfortable with good cooking facilities. Some basic food is available for free (pasta, tomato sauce, tuna, milk, coffee, ...) in case you arrive late or you simply didn't have time to buy something in a supermarket it's comfortable. The owner was very friendly and he allowed early check-in and he picked us up at the train station (about 15 min walking distance). There are several nice beaches in Avola and especially the old beach near Tonnara is suitable for children. Noto is easily reachable by bus and train, which makes a nice day trip. A positive experience!
