A QUINTA DAS FLORES- Casa do Miradouro

Definitely the best house you could book on Flores island! The views are amazing. The house is fully equipped, you even get your bathrobes. It feels like home with nice furniture and accessories that aren't just the cheap stuff people put in rental appartments. The host surprised us with candles and a bottle of sparkling wine so that we could have a romantic evening for our honeymoon, amazing. We also appreciated the tips about the restaurants and activities on the island. The garden is huuuge. Althought the airport is just below the hill, the planes land/take off so quickly that you barely notice them.

Lots of stairs: that didn't bother us, but might be a problem for children or elderly. I wish the pillows were softer, but that's just my preference. As it's the only house on the top of a hill, it can get very windy.

Astonishing position, extraordinary three storey house, masterly renovated by experts architects. Unconventional and confortable, carefully chosen furniture. Great attention to details everywhere. Kitchen and appliances are superb. Friendly owner and staff. Great garden all around the property. Uncomparable view. Everything absolutely clean.

Our stay at Casa do Miradouro was magical. The very well-equipped vacation home offered spacious comfort, and the garden was a true paradise. The BBQ spot, perched on a hill with sweeping views of the city and ocean, felt like a secret treasure. Above all, the host’s warmth and helpfulness made our experience unforgettable. We had a lot to arrange because it was a last-minute trip, but she helped us with really everything! We’d return in a heartbeat!

This is the place beyond your any cheeky expectation. Do you really think your are smart and experienced and it is not possible to surprise you? This is the place to prove you are not right. Absolutely perfect villa for any purpose — romantic vacation, family nature break, art therapy and writer’s aloneness. All of this are about this place. Three floors of domestic hospitality with tons of small details and warm things making your being here perfect. I am not afraid to say — this is the best place I ever rented for whole of my long travel life. I’d rate it by 20 if could.
