Honeypot Cottage in Centre of Bowness

Location was excellent, information provided before we arrived was really useful

TV - not that we used it much but we couldn’t find any instructions & only option seemed to be app based like BBC Iplayer. But that may have been our fault

The cottage was absolutely ideal for 6 adult family members. It was right in the centre of Bowness and an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. Pubs, shops and transport were on the doorstep. The cottage was clean, well decorated and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

The cottage smelt of damp/foul Dirty carpets rubbish left outside from previous guests Description of cottage not accurate bedrooms on separate floors 2 on ground floor master 2 floors up no handrails on stairs would not recommend for families with children or people with limited abilities Carpark had fly tipping and very steep unstable surfaces We didn't even stay in end saw all this then drove home with2 disappointed children and no refund of host
