A un Passo dai Sassi

Bien équipé, central, propre. Bon accueil.

Un peu bruyant (bruit de la rue).

Me gusto todo. Pequeño pero bien equipaba do de todo.

Creía viendo las foto que era más grande pero al final para 3 personas (2 adultos y un bebé) fue genial!

Einfache, aber saubere Unterkunft. Ausreichend für 1-2 Übernachtungen. Es gab einen Obstkorb. Das war sehr erfreuend.

Ich hatte eigentlich ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht.

The apartment is located super close to the historical part of Matera. It is very clean and offers everything one may need for the stay. The host is amazing, he left many snacks and drinks in the apartment and a moka + pastries for breakfast. He also offered to bring me to the station when I left as there were no taxi available. True southern italy hospitality!

- The owner is very friendly and picked us up at the bus station - it is a longer distance from the property if walking. - Owner provided some complementary fruit; bottled water and juices in the fridge; sweets - The place was clean and tidy - Excellent location for accessing the old town/sassi and also for accessing shops

- It was advertised that there is a washing machine - there is however it does not work. We found this out after buying washing powder and putting our clothes in the machine. We had about 1 hour wasted of trying to get the machine to work, contacting the owner and only finding out then that the machine doesn't work. - Would be handy to have a kettle for boiling water (if you are a tea drinker); also to have a frying pan - we cook at least one meal a day during our stay so it was difficult to do this with the limited cooking items - The bed mattress was comfortable; however, if there are two people in the bed then one person is sleeping against the wall and it is difficult for that person to get in and out of bed (especially if need at night) - The property does not have a window with a view - it has two skylights (one in the bedroom/kitchen area and one in the bathroom); there is a very small window in the bedroom area which is located under the roof eave, so no outlook -The skylight window in the bedroom area does not have a blind on it, so you have light/sunshine awakening you in the morning -The room is up two (double) flights of stairs so not appropriate if you have mobility issues or can't lift/carry suitcases up stairs; no lift

Although quite small, the studio was extremely well equipped with full kitchen facilities and items and a good size bath with hairdryer, etc. Biagio is an incredibly helpful host and left fruit and drinks for us along with croissants and coffee. The studio is a short walk to the Sassi and is in a good neighborhood with cafes and restaurants and elegant shops. It was fun to walk around there. Highly recommended accommodation with very comfortable bed and pillows!

More space would be nice but it worked for us as a couple. No complaints.
