Casa Vacanza Etna

Nice location, peaceful, rural. But a short drive to shops in town and up to Etna Nord. Well equipped kitchenette. Good value.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Abbiamo soggiornato dal 13 al 16 agosto e siamo rimasti entusiasti! La struttura è immersa nella natura, un luogo perfetto per chi cerca relax e tranquillità. Tutto era curatissimo e pulitissimo. Il personale è stato sempre cordiale e disponibile, facendoci sentire davvero accolti. La piscina, con la sua cornice naturale, è stata un vero angolo di paradiso dove abbiamo potuto goderci momenti di totale relax per ferragosto.

I loved the cats in the yard (only come to you if you call them, don't bother you if you don't) and the pizza place right next to it! The pool is great after you come back from Etna which is so close. The host don't bother you with anything, you just get the keys and you are in. Great cactuses in the yard

Comfortable and warm house

The accommodation had good and 'could improve' on some points. It could have been better prepared for guests. For example, if we had not asked the host when he let us in how to operate the heater we would not have discovered the gas canister had run out (he replaced it no problem). As the week went on we grew to like the place. It’s an old solid walled building in the countryside, if we had visited later in summer the damp/mould would have been absent. The host appeared at one point, was keen to check everything was OK, including checking on the WiFi service and he let us look around the cactus polytunnel; he was also very helpful in posting something we had left behind. When the sun was out it was a lovely spot to sit around, enjoying the views. It's a good base for getting to the coast, Etna and other sites in the region. We really liked Linguaglossa (Nica Nuci café is superb), and there are good eateries nearby. Our rating (7) reflects all of the above. If the property had been better prepared and it was later in the summer, it would have merited a score of 9.

The accommodation was a bit dirty, and the property is a little damp, with mould on some walls. The neighbours had several dogs, the barking was loud and very frequent for no apparent reason. This disturbed the peace and quiet of the location.
