la Senesina

We felt very good in 'La Senesina', a very cosy recent beautifully renovated apartment in an old house situated in the middle of tuscany countryside landscape,just a few km away from Siena. You need a car to get there, ofcourse, but you need a car anyway to visit the magnificent area. My regret is that we stayed just for 2 days.We will sure return sometime in the future. I strongly recommend La Senesina!

Fabulous place in Toscany. It's very near to Sienna. San giminiano 40 minutes, Volterra and Florence about 1 hour. The house was very clean, the chichen equipment was excellent. Every detail done with love. The guests were available for anything all the time, with very short notice. We enjoyed it a lot and definitely will come back to this incredible place.

Located on a rural road in a restored historical convent…easy access both to Siena and Monteriggioni, albeit on back roads if you use Apple or Google maps for fastest routes…well supplied with necessities…Andrea was very pleasant to deal with…plenty of parking right next to the apartment…great photographic view outside the dining and bedroom windows…we had a wonderful stay!!

It is an historical property so A/C was not allowed…could be quite warm in the afternoon but if you opened the windows (screened for insects) late in the day, the apartment cooled down quickly. It was a fairly long drive to restaurants…it did not affect us as we ate here every evening during our 4 night stay…finally there was a 16E tourist fee…we did not find out about it until after we left and were unable to pay…but Andrea was accommodating about it…we DID really enjoy the property and would highly recommend it…

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The owner met us to hand over the keys, informed us properly and helped with our luggage. The communication was good. The house is beautiful and comfortable: everything was there, it was clean and nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable. It was on a 15 minutes drive from Siena.

We only expect that on hot days people could miss a garden or air conditioning.

Very clean, spacious and fully equipped apartment. Charming tuscan styled building furnished with modern appliances. The host thought about every detail, botle opener, spices, cotton pads, all you can need. As we were traveling with a baby they also provided a crib and a high chair. Location is in a peaceful area, surrounded by nature but still just a short ride from Siena, Florence and other nearby cities. Very friendly host, helped with our luggage, provided us notes with best restaurants, attractions nearby as well as markets and their working hours.

Good size apartment in very quiet location

A bit remote but not end of the world if you have a car

Cozy and country location

Clean, great location, well equipped with everything you need, excellent host, easy check in.

Upstairs made it hard to get luggage but we managed.
