Location is excellent but difficult to find.

No comfortable chairs for sitting other than in bedroom.

The location was perfect - so easy to find and right in the middle of the old town. It was very secure with an entrance into a courtyard. Great facilities - we used the washing machine as we’d been travelling around. It was perfect and the little courtyard was perfect to sit out at. Our host messaged lots of recommendations and we ended up having the most memorable meal out! Very accommodating and was contactable throughout our stay.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Ivana was a great and attentive host, responding very quickly to our requests and questions! The accommodation itself was very clean, well maintained and comfortable for the two of us, as well as perfectly located in the middle of Sorrento. Whilst somewhat expensive (as Sorrento is), it is relatively cost effective for the area. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Location

It was cool even on hot days, the kitchen and bathroom were good. Having a washing machine was also really helpful. Very central location in a very busy street. We stayed 4 nights.

This is a really nice property but there were a few things that stood out. We found it hard to relax in the space as there was only one arm chair. We ended up sitting on the bed to watch a little tv or read a book. There is a sofa in the entry room but this was the sofa bed so for us it was also in use as a bed and not available for use as a couch most of the time. So places to just sit and relax were not really available. The kitchen has a small table and chairs that are pretty uncomfortable but ok for a quick bite. There is a small courtyard bordered by pot plants, and we found the washing machine in a cupboard here. There were small metal chairs that were not particularly comfortable to sit on. We appreciate the ease of self check in for owners (and we’ve done plenty of them) but if owners aren’t around they do need to leave really good and clear information for guests about the property. And to be sure everything is ready. We couldn’t find any manual or instructions at this property and although we were told to message the owner if we needed anything we didn’t want to do that all the time. Sometimes it was quite late at night and we just needed to know where quite straight forward things were. For example we found there were no tea towels to wipe up with, we arrived to find no toilet paper, and when we tried to wash some clothes we found no laundry detergent. We had to buy supplies ourselves for these things. We don’t mind to a certain extent but it’s not possible to buy single use quantity of laundry detergent, for example, so these things can really add up. While we appreciated help with information about booking meals that was provided in a welcome message through booking.com we just felt it was all a bit automated and ultimately the hosts were not aware of their guests or their property.

The location was outstanding. Nice decor. Nice bathroom with good water pressure.
