It's located in a peaceful, secluded area, surrounded by nature. It's about a 30-45 minute walk away from the nearest train station (Oriolo) and just 3-5 minute walk away from the closest bus stops (which can also take you to either of the 2 train stations. It's a little over an hour away from Rome by train. The host/owner is really nice and picked me up. I had gotten off at the other train station is much further by foot but isn't as convenient as the bus doesn't stop there during the day, and you have to walk some distance (up lots of stairs) to get to the nearest working bus station during the day, which is bad if you have multiple luggage. There are NO taxis in town or ride-share services available at all in the area, I was told. The home is beautiful, spacious (with big rooms- kitchen, living room) and is one of the cleanest accommodations I've every stayed in via booking.com. There are lots of windows and fans for ventilation, and heaters/furnaces, which work perfectly- no need for air-conditioning. There are several balconies accessible from different rooms. You have just about everything you could need in a home from toiletries, linen, toilet paper, recycling bins, dishes, some food, spices, etc. There's a washing machine, a bathtub and separate shower, bidet, big bed, and more. I absolutely love it!!!

The only thing that I would have appreciated having was either taxi or rideshare service in the area due to walking distance from the train stations and supermarkets. However, it was great that they host picked me up.

Good location along the walking path. Spacious rooms, complete kitchen, friendly and helpful host. Private parking. Nice small village nearby the lake and train station to Rome.

House is a little outdated. Small shower and soft matras (felt the spirals) Dogs barking the moment they hear something.
