Casa Ferrigno is a truly wonderful and original accommodation that perfectly reflects the authentic atmosphere of Maiori. Unlike the hotels and apartments along the promenade, this place offers something far more memorable: breathtaking views of the mountains, the sea and the town all in one. The many stairs are part of the experience (think of it as a free gym with a sea view) but even our three 12-year-olds managed them. The apartment is spacious, spotless and private, so you can truly relax after a day at the beach. Just don’t forget anything important upstairs — sunscreen, snorkelling googles, or an ice-cold bottle of prosecco — because the climb back up is a little less fun the second time. Luckily, a few friendly local cats often show the way, which makes it easier (and definitely cuter)... If you’re looking for something special and authentic, Casa Ferrigno is hard to beat.

Great location overlooking Maiori away from the busier and more expensive parts of the Amalfi coast. Comfortable and clean with plenty of space and everything you need. Ideal for families. Lovely having fruit trees in the garden/terrace. The host Pietro was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Sure there are a lot of stairs up to the property but it’s all part of the authentic experience, and how else would you get that view ;-)

This was such a great place to stay on the Amalfi Coast! Maiori was such a standout spot for our trip, it was genuinely one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. The house was lovely and big, which was such a nice change after being in hostels for 4 weeks, it also had such a gorgeous view! The balcony/patio was so nice for the warm summer nights, everything was very clean and the host was very quick to help us when needed.

The only thing was the stairs. I read about it in all the reviews and thought we would be fine (we are two girls in their early 20's who are pretty active), but we were wrong! Maybe it would be more bearable in the colder months but having to go up and down the stairs multiple times a day in 36+ degree heat was AWFUL, God forbid you forgot something and had to pop home! Honestly I cant say I wouldn't stay here again because everything else was absolutely amazing but I might try and visit when its a bit colder.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation with everything you may ever need during your stay. Breathtaking view and very quiet surroundings. Amazing host, Pietro will do everything to make sure your needs are fulfilled (even finding a mechanic who can fix your flat tire on Friday afternoon!). Thank you Pietro for making our holidays unforgettable!
