Locatie, de badkamer een heerlijke douche. Het contact met Enrico is was heel aangenaam. Een hele aardige man, die alles goed uitlegde. Het werd kouder en we kregen gelijk dekens. Super service!!

"Eine sehr negative Erfahrung"

2.0

To be fair, the hosts were friendly upon arrival and helpful when we departed – they promptly provided the code for the key box so we could leave with no trouble.

I really can’t understand the many positive reviews of this accommodation. We had originally booked seven nights but left after just one – we quite literally fled the place. During that one night, we barely got an hour of sleep. What struck us immediately upon arrival was the intense, pungent smell of multiple room fragrance dispensers. After a short while, we started feeling nauseous and had to remove them. Sadly, it became clear why such a strong artificial scent had been used: the basement level, where the bedrooms are located, is damp and smells musty and mouldy – as confirmed by the presence of a dehumidifier. The fact that the bedrooms are in the basement is not mentioned anywhere on the booking page.Access to the basement is via a steep staircase, which is extremely difficult with heavy luggage – and generally dangerous. What’s especially baffling is that a bunk bed for children is placed down there. In our view, this setup is completely unsuitable for children. The beds were also extremely uncomfortable – sleeping on them was nearly impossible. Before midnight, the deafening music from the town’s only nightclub began – about 300 meters from the property. The noise lasted until five in the morning. The windows in the bedroom are just two small hatches, which we had opened – also because of the strong smell. Sleeping was not possible for that reason either. Another concern is the gas stove in the upstairs kitchen. Should gas leak – especially if it’s the heavier-than-air kind (like propane) – it could sink into the basement. Although a gas alarm is installed, it’s questionable whether it could be heard at night. We seriously wonder how bedrooms in a basement like this can be permitted at all.As for the garden: yes, there are a few palm trees, but that doesn’t change the fact that the grounds are dry, dusty, and parched. You can hardly call it a garden. It looks no different from the surrounding fields, where sheep graze in search of the last blades of grass.

"Calm country property."

9.0

Enrico was the perfect host, meeting us with the keys and touring and explaining the property and being ready to help. The property is calm, outside the busy Villasimius, but close enough for beaches and restaurants to be a short drive away.

"Nice Villa in good location. Very friendly and helpful host. Definitely would recommend!"

9.0

Perfect, quiet location. Privacy, so you could feel comfortable. Modern interior and really nice lighting at night. You don't have to worry about your car because it's safe in garden under canopy. Also advantage is automatic gate with remote control. Mosquito mesh in every window and even front door.

Garden was a bit disappointing because it was not green at all (hardly any grass like it was on pictures)but you could explain that because of weather.
