The host, Angelo, was really friendly and accommodating- always happy to help. The living area/ kitchen and sleeping areas are separate. The living area is nicely laid out with great views over the water, made more special with the terrace and views down the coast. Well-equipped terrace loungers/ tables and chairs/ umbrella. Feels private/ quiet and not overlooked. Kitchen well-equipped. Property very clean. Only a few minutes to walk down to a rocky cove with great swimming/ snorkelling. Well situated for short car drive to Syracusa/ Ortigia or down the coast to various beaches. Also recommend short trips to Noto and Ragusa Ibla, so you can have a varied stay. Well-equipped local shop. Sad to leave.

Because of lots of windows- great views but lets in a lot of light. The Air-con has to work hard. Bit of an ant issue in the kitchen. Electrics trip easily if using oven alongside other electrics/ air con. Just need to be careful. We mainly used the gas hobs which was fine. Plemmirio is a marine national park, with rocky cove and cliff inlets dotted about at few access points. However, the built-up area is just separate villas. Not really a place to explore on foot but an interesting coast and a great base to travel from by car.
