Villa Russo

We had a great stay at Villa Russo. The hosts were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us during our stay, even giving us lifts! The apartment was really clean and spacious and the pool was great, big enough to swim in. We loved the location, it was convenient for the town and the train station. Thank you so much Fortuna and family.

Everything was great!

Villa Russo is a charming property in Vico Equense. Marica and her family were excellent hosts. On arrival in Vico Equense, they provided us with assistance in getting to the property. They also kindly provided us with a beautiful basket of goodies to kick start our stay in Villa Russo. The Villa was very relaxing and the pool was great. The balcony was fantastic for watching the sunset over the coast line. Marica was very helpful in helping us navigate our way around the Amalfi Coast and made some fantastic recommendations for places to visit. Villa Russo gets top marks for wonderful facilities and great ambience. I will definitely go back next time I am visiting the Amalfi coast

It was bright,modern and very well equipped property. Our stay was fantastic and enhanced by the brilliant customer care offered by the family. Great advice was given about where to visit, how to get there and they even picked my family and I from the train station and dropped off on our departure. A great place to stay.

We didn’t stay longer

I had the best time at Villa Russo and sorry for the late review! They were so very helpful when I arrived in Vico way too early and was able to leave my luggage in a local shop while I waited for the villa to be ready and we were able to check in earlier than anticipated. The villa is located a little way up a hill but there is a bus service (not always 100% reliable for timings but always turns up eventually) and just 2 minutes away, there is a supermarket. Arez, the dog, who might sometimes mistake you for the cleaner who he doesn't apparently get on with so might bark when you're on your balcony but he is the friendliest ever, just a little shy. Be sure to ask for a lemon to take away with you, I made the most amazing Pasta al Limone when I got back to Rome! I will absolutely try to rebook this villa next time I need to escape Rome for a while, be sure to book well in advance! I also left my charger at the vill and they brought it to me instead of waiting for me to come back and pick it up - 10 out of 10! Grazie infinite!

Marica was absolutely amazing. We had multiple unforeseen problems during our travel and Marica and her family demonstrated such good hospitality and helped us out a lot. One of our large checkin bags was stolen in Rome on our way to the Villa. Marica even offered their clothes to help out. Her relative had a store opened for us to get clothes. Additionally when we had a cooking class and there was a train strike Marica was very helpful in helping us work through alternative options. At a time we were struggling Marica really helped vs the help we got from the police and Trenitalia with our bag being taken.It really helped turn ease the situation for us and help us transition back to enjoying our vacation again. Our kids enjoyed using the pool. We found the accommodations comfortable for our needs too.

There is a 15 minute walk down to the town center and back up to the Villa. It worked okay for us and a good way to work off your dinner :).

Marica and her aunt rock! They are super sweet and responsive. Available 24/7 and helpful with our questions of how to move around the area. Also gave us pleny of treats! When we arrived they gave us a ride to the house and then when we checked out they drove us to the station. The apartment is beautiful. Luminous, spacious and EXTREMELY clean and tidy. And Vico Ecquense is everything you need for a chill vacation near the hot spots like Positano, Capri, etc.

Marica, the host, was very friendly and helpfull, and she surprised us with different (local) presents! Apartment has everything you wish for, and very clean! Location is perfect, on walking distance to Vico city center and close to all famous places for a day trip Our kids loved to swim in the swimming pool and you can park your car at villa Russo . We would recommend villa Russo for sure!!!

Pretty personal taste: We would prefer a more soft bed.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and kind people and the view from the property is beautiful.

Very nice appartment. All renovated. Nice bathroom. Kitchen has all utensiles. The hosts are Super kind and helpful. The villa is locate 3 min walk from a Supermarket. Nice view to the bay from the balconies. This town is a good base point for Sorrento and Amalfi bay exploration and also pompeii.
