The location is so strategic and hosts hospitality, close to all you need. Bus, train stops just 5 mins walk. Had two air-conditioning. And washing machine is a plus for our stay. Our bedroom and bathroom are on the lower level. So it's a matter of what you like.

The utensils in the kitchen are a little bit out of date but still functional. So it's not a problem for us. When using washing machine or kettle, you need to refrain from using the microwave or cook top at the same time, as the fuse will drop. Once we figured that out, it's not a problem.

Money scam. I was looking for a fully first floor accommodation as one of the guests had problems with his leg and health after two serious surgeries. The location of the entire accommodation on the first floor was the main criterion when choosing the accommodation, which I also informed about in the wishes when booking. The host accepted the booking and debited the money, however on arrival it turned out that the accommodation was not as described and the toilet was not on the first floor but in the basement, as was the bedroom. The sofa, declared as "comfortable and large" is also not comfortable and not large. But the worst thing is that a person with a bad leg would have to go to the toilet every time on a spiral staircase to the lower floor. We refused to move in and asked for a refund or at least part of it, but the owner refused and stopped responding to our messages. In the end I had to pay three times for my stay in Palermo and the vacation was ruined. Horrible attitude to people and deception. Also, although we did not live in the accommodation, I can tell you that the bedroom is in the basement, the window there is tiny under the ceiling where the air is musty and stale. And in general, everything looks much better on the photo than in reality. I do not recommend contacting this apartment. UPD: We found your room because the previous turned out on the 5th floor. We did NOT live there. in the end we had to look for a third option that had nothing to do with you or the first room. Comfort on the stairs to the basement was waiting for us? You saw my aunt, she could hardly take five steps to the door. And your sofa is uncomfortable and small, which is said not only by me, but also by other guests in their reviews. You described your room incorrectly, saying that it is FULLY on the first floor, which is NOT true. It is on two floors with a bathroom and bedroom in the basement. This is a LIE. Washing machine did not work!

Excellent location, next to the old Palace.

The apartment was not initially ready and I had to come back to get the keys.

The owners were lovely. This was a last minute early evening booking after my already booked Airbnb was not habitable. They took the booking and met me to let me in, showed me around and gave me the keys. When I discovered there was no water they immediately came to fix the problem and were extremely apologetic. The unit was pretty clean, nice little kitchenette, heat/AC and roomy. The property was well located to restaurants and sights.

The mattress had two distinct grooves from bodies, it was difficult to get comfortable because I sleep in the middle of a bed and kept rolling into the grooves. It was a little musty, the bathroom shower needs a deep clean and the black patch in the shower ceiling needs to be taken care of.

The owner is very friendly. We asked for late checkout, as our flight was late. They accept it.

The bathroom is very tiny and dark.
