Right after we checked in, we realized the room hadn’t been cleaned. There were brown stains in the toilet, and the overall condition was unacceptable. The host told us a cleaner would come, so we waited for 1.5 hours. When a woman finally arrived, she was on the phone, handed us toilet paper at the door, and didn’t even know she was supposed to clean. She went into the bathroom angrily, grabbed dish soap, and pretended to clean while shouting. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and the room stayed dirty. She also used rude language and shouted at us. We didn’t feel safe or respected. We came here to enjoy our trip, but this situation caused stress, delays, and we couldn’t even shower properly. We requested a €50 refund, but the host refused. Instead, he said, “Normally I would charge tourist tax at checkout, but now I won’t.” However, we believe this was just an excuse, as there was no mention of any tourist tax in the listing or during booking. This was a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
